A very special unveiling took place last month!
Due to COVID19 it was a virtual celebration and a thanks giving service.
What makes this unveiling particularly special is that these two wonderful beings commissioned me to draw their significant other without the other knowing. With the tremendous efforts of their daughter Anu and support of her husband, they managed to plan the event which celebrates her fathers 70th birthday and surprise them both with their drawings as they had no clue they were getting a drawing of themselves.
Thank you Mr & Mrs Obaro for your support and for allowing me the honour of capturing you both. Special thank to Anu for the top secret plans and exchanges to make this unveiling possible!
It has been a week since my episode on Extraordinary Portraits aired on BBC One and I’m still on a blissful high! The response from the public has been unbelievable! So many heartwarming messages that I’m still making time to respond to.
