This pastel drawing was inspired by the meaning of name Horizon. One particular meaning Horizon is described as the line at which the earth’s surface and the sky appear to meet.
In the is drawing I wanted to capture the subject with earthy brown tones and create a feeling of light resembling a sunrise or sunset. I wanted to symbolising the union of humanity with earth and the life force that is within and around us.
“I love to draw faces. Each face, to me, tells an intriguing story regardless of age, gender, race or background.”
